Left 4 Dead 2 Announced!

Well after Valve's mega hit Left 4 Dead, I'm sure everyone assumed that a Left 4 Dead sequel was coming.. but i doubt anyone expected to see it this soon.

On Monday June 1st 2009, at a press conference for E3: the Electronic Entertainment Expo, Valve unveiled it's plan to show off it's glorious sequel to Left 4 Dead titled (you guessed it), Left 4 Dead 2.

The game has been updated with new maps, a more intuitive AI director whom can now control multiple paths, weather and even more powerful super zombies who are hell bent on getting a taste of anything living.

One of the most interesting additions shown at E3 was Left 4 Dead's 2 Daylight levels that appear even more eerie than levels set at night or dusk.

Oh, and the chainsaw... Drools....

Left 4 Dead 2 Release Date

Anyway, the release date for Left 4 Dead 2 has been set tentatively for November 17th 2009, exactly one year minus a day from when the original Left 4 Dead was released. Happy Birthday Left 4 Dead!
