So the 3DS had a massive price drop and sales have expectantly risen. The idea itself is pretty neat, full 3D handheld gaming. It's no surprise to me that Nintendo is bringing this, I after all was the proud owner of a Virtual Boy when they first came out.

That robot boxing game was incredible.

What bothers me a bit is that Nintendo seems to 'revolutionize' their own handheld device constantly. DS, DSL, DS+, Hell I can't even remember. Too many different models of the same damn thing, it's like an Apple product and much Apple these things are by no means cheap. I'm glad to see that after their latest 3DS release they had the silent nod of failure and dropped the price down to a reasonably low $169. Even then, I'm still clutching on to my first gen DS... I'll wait for the 3DS2.1 before I consider upgrading.

Still, I can't help but wonder what their next major innovation is going to be, VR here we come. For those that don't know, Star Trek: The Next Generation had a super fun and hilarious episode called "The Game" which I can only imagine is where the DS will eventually lead us.

I attempted to draw my own strip today. It's, uh, not exactly pretty but I'm working on figuring out these different painting programs. Bear with me here, it feels like my hands have Palsy and my brain starts hiccuping every time I touch the mouse in these programs.
