FPS Strategy Redefined: FPS GOD

Exactly one year ago today, February 27th 2008, Cognito and myself, Kaizen, decided to start our own video game strategy site that really helped gamers "Take their game to the next level". Our goal was to be the number one source for strategy on the net for whatever first person shooter we covered and although we only covered two games, Counter-Strike and Left 4 Dead, FPSGOD was a huge success.

To give you an idea of our growth, this past Februrary, FPSGOD was on par to make approximately 45,000 unique visitors for the month. That equates to roughly 40% of our entire traffic from last year alone!

As I'm sure you've noticed by now, FPSGOD forwards you to it's new home here on Next Level Gamer. Call us cruel for doing this on FPSGOD's one year anniversary but I assure you it was absolutely necessary.

We did this for 2 reasons:

1. FPSGOD's domain name limited us to cover First Person Shooters.
2. We wanted to rebrand FPSGOD and move away from the blog format all-together and start fresh.

This site promises to do exactly what FPSGOD did, only much better. We'll still be providing you with the most in depth strategy for all your games, but we'll cover a much broader range of games with much more sections such as: news, reviews, previews, machinima and everything else that's in between.

If you're interested in climbing aboard the Next Level Gamer team, now's the time. This site is still built on the same foundation that made FPSGOD great, "by the community, for the community" and even the smallest of contributions can make a difference.
