Wow, we've only been live for 2 weeks and we've already had a site redesign! Thanks to everyone who has spread the word and helped us grow to over 100 unique daily readers in such a short time!

Whats the deal with this blog anyway?

A few people have been asking, so I'll try to clear it up. The goal of this blog isn't for us to be FPS Gods standing out on a rock preaching tips to newbs, think of it more as a community effort to provide free tutorials and tips to help players "take their game to the next level".

We feel that FPS gaming is all about being social and working together as a team, so why not freely share tips and strategies in the same way? We're really hoping to encourage participation across the FPS community so we can all improve, it's a win-win situation.

I'm an FPS God! How can I help?

Excellent! We want to learn your strategies, embrace your tips, and hear your epic stories. You can start using the Forum, submit strategies to: tips@fpsgod.com, or leave comments on any of our articles. If you submit something that we quote in a future article, we'll always be sure to give you credit for it and link to your website (if you have one).

What if I'm a newb and have nothing to share?

If you have a question or want some advice, go ahead and ask! We'll do our best to answer your questions to help you improve your game.

Since this is a community driven site, we'll also need everyone's help to rate posts and leave comments in articles. Rating a post isn't to stroke our egos for doing something right (although we appreciate it! ;), but more importantly as the site grows these will become key navigation tools that will help new readers find the content they need most!

...and don't you worry, if you follow the blog, apply the tips, and practice hard, you'll be an FPS God too in no time!

We'll be launching a Counter-Strike: Source server soon. If you're interested in donating or have some ideas, please contact us. If you don't have any money or ideas but still want to give us props for working hard on the site, that's good too! We appreciate all kinds of feedback.
