Play as Robin in Arkham City

 

The rumors have been confirmed as of today, Robin WILL be a playable character in Warner Bros. upcoming game Batman: Arkham City being developed by Rocksteady Studios. Robin joins the series with some nifty tricks up his sleeve such as unique gadgets and special moves apart from Batman's.

Challenge map bonuses

Robin will also be available in all the Arkham City challenge maps and the two bonus maps that are included with the Robin pack, "Black Mask Hideout" and "Freight Train Escape". They were even kind enough to throw in a custom red skin.

Oh but there's a catch.. there always is..

Apparently the "Robin pack" will be only available to North American fans who've pre-ordered ahead of time with Best Buy but at least it will be available for any version that the game is released upon: PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360, if that's any consolation.
