Welcome to NLG's guide to a max ego boost in Duke Nukem Forever. You can only claim an ego boost from an object once, even if it is available in multiple locations/chapters. Repeat ego boost opportunities are marked with an (R) so if you've already claimed it, you can't a second time.

Chapter 1: Duke Lives (3 boosts, 3 new)

• Mirror (+1) – Duke's bathroom - Admire yourself.
• Toilet (+1) – Duke's bathroom - Take a leak.
• Pool Table (+2) – Duke’s bar room - Sink all balls without sinking the cue (white) ball.

 

 

 

Chapter 2: Damn it’s Late (5 boosts, 3 new)

• Microwave (+1) – Employee lounge - Cook a rat or popcorn bag.
  
• Autograph (+2) – Heading on stage - Sign the kid's book.
• Punch Out (+1) – Off stage - Punch Christian Bale's alter ego out.
• (R) Mirror (+1) - Makeup room & Bathroom - Admire yourself.
• (R) Toilet (+1) - Bathroom - Take a leak.

 

 

 

Chapter 3: Duke Cave (8 boosts, 7 new)

• (R) Mirror (+1) – Gym - Admire yourself.
• Basketball (+1) – Gym - Toss a basketball through the hoop.
• Bench Press (+3) – Gym - Bench 600lbs (100lb weights are located around the gym, need three plates a side).
• Heavy Bag (+1) – Gym - Punch (melee) the punching bag.
• Speed Bag (+1) – Gym - Punch (melee) the speed bag.
• Dumbbell (+1) – Gym - Curl one of the 150lb dumbbells.
• Pinball (+1) – Gym - Play for a bit.
• Pinball (+3) – Gym - Get a high score (beat 280,897 points).

 

 

 

Chapter 5: The Lady Killer (1 boost, 1 new)

• Slot Machine (+2) – Multiple locations - Play until you win.

 
 

  

 

 Chapter 6: Vegas in Ruin (1 boost, 1 new)

• Boss (+3) - Deafeat the boss.

 

Chapter 7: Duke Dome (1 boost, 1 new)

• Photocopier (+1) – Construction office trailer - Photocopy Duke's butt.

 
 

 

 

 Chapter 8: The Hive (1 boost, 1 new)

• Wall Breasts (+1) – Multiple locations - Slap the breasts growing out of the wall.

 

 

 
 

 Chapter 9: Queen Bitch (5 boosts, 1 new)

• (R) Dumbbell (+1) - Training room - Curl one of the 150lb dumbbells.
• (R) Bench Press (+3) – Training room - Bench 600lbs (100lb weights are located in the rooms in the immediate area, need three plates a side).
• (R) Heavy Bag (+1) – Training room - Punch (melee) the punching bag.
• (R) Wall Breasts (+1) – Second room, left wall - Slap the breasts growing out of the wall.
• Boss (+3) – Defeat the boss.

• Glory Hole (+1) – Bathroom - Use the glory hole located in the stall.
• (R) Toilet (+1) - Bathroom - Take a leak.
• (R) Mirror (+1) - Bathroom / Makeup room - Admire yourself.
• (R) Microwave (+1) – Employees only area / Makeup room - Cook a popcorn bag.
• (R) Pool Table (+2) – Games room - Sink all balls without sinking the cue (white) ball.
• (R) Slot Machine (+2) – Games room - Play until you win.
• (R) Pinball (+1) – Games room - Play for a bit.
• (R) Pinball (+3) – Games room - Get a high score (beat 137,900 points).

• Telescope (+1) – Across from gas station - Use one of the telescopes.
• Computer (+1) – Gas station - Turn on the PC.

Chapter 14: Ghost Town (2 boosts, 1 new)

• (R) Microwave (+1) - Long house in first empty town - Cook a rat.
• Funbags Mag (+1) – Church, under seat - Open the nudie mag.

 

 

 

Chapter 16: Dam Top (2 boosts, 2 new)

• Paper Plane (+1) – Top of dam, inside bus - Throw it outside.

• (R) Cigar (+1) – Office with security screen - Smoke the cigar.
• (R) Slutbutts Mag (+1) - After comrade's death - Open the nudie mag.

 
 

 

 

Chapter 22: Blowin’ the Dam (3 boosts, 1 new)

• Boss (+4) - Defeat the boss.
• (R) 69mm Mag (+1) - First room, right corner - Open the nudie mag.
• (R) Paper Plane (+1) - Flooded room w/Pigcops - Throw the plane (Lots of jumping around room perimeter to get to this one).
